Comparing Amazon's International Prices

Pricenoia is a great use of Amazon's Webservices (and a little screen-scraping I believe) that I had been meaning to attempt myself, but seeing this implementation makes me happy enough to point it out, rather than tackle it again myself. Pricenoia will compare Amazon's international prices for Books, Music, DVDs and Games from their US, UK, CA, JP , FR, and DE sites, all in a table on the same page - see their results for the Polar Express. They do on-the-fly Currency conversion and include estimated shipping costs (allowing you to switch delivery locales too).

I don't know how long it's been around, but I really like the way they've attacked this and enjoy seeing the results (for instance, Murmur by REM is almost $2.50 cheaper in CA than in the US (excluding shipping). You may even be able to find a big enough price disparity to make up for the shipping costs in some cases.

Hi Alan!

Thank's for your comments on Pricenoia! I'm one of the site's creators, and really apreciate the comment coming from the creator of Amazon Light :)

To answer the question on how long we've been around, since 25-02-2004.

regards!

Cool.. why don't you include a link to the item comparison at Pricenoia when looking at a product? Just like the delicious or gmail ones? i don't think there will be any problem with Amazon licence agreement ;)
