Busy days
Yes, I've been insanely busy at work, which means I don't get to build much nor blog much on my own time. However, I've got a new widget I've just squeaked time in for and it seems very apropos due to other news.
I've written a Greasemonkey Script to allow users to view A9.com's storefront images within Googlemaps search results. For full details and installation, see the page here:
You got your A9 images in my Googlemaps! There's a bit of a delay for the A9 images to load, but hopefully it's not much of a pain.
This of course rides on the backs of two very cool related announcements today - Google maps now has it's own
official API (wish I had known about this earlier), and A9.com has a completely
new interface to the storefront Block View images. All very fun stuff.

I've been busy with
my collection lately. Working on a KML/KMZ generator now.

That's a pretty cool script. It would be useful if there was a way to click anywhere on the map and get the a9 local photo. I imagine that might be hard to do without a specific address, though.
Great work!
