- Dawson to Eagle flotilla called "100 Years, 100 Miles" Commemorating the 28 miners who left Dawson City by river and discovered gold near the future home of Eagle, Alaska.

- An exhibit of gold leaves Dawson City to travel south to Skagway where it is placed aboard a replica S.S. Portland for a trip south.

- Seattle welcomes the S.S. Portland once again with its "Ton of Gold" in a recreation at Pier 57. A Festival and Sourdough Ball will follow.
